This Way There Be Dragons
A tall man with black hair showing the beginnings of gray at his temples, he carried himself like a lord. His angular nose divides a wide face smoothly lined. His dark eyes twinkle with knowledge yet unrevealed.
This son of a blacksmith quickly rose through the ranks of the Merchant guilds in his early twenties. He married the daughter of the then third largest guild in Muirwood, who gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Bellannah, while they were both still young. He soon mastered his father-in-law’s business and at his early death took over the guild. Within three years the Black Hawk Guild Hall was the largest merchant guild in the city and Borronad was the defacto power in the Muirwood. In the year 125 AK Borronad’s daughter was kidnapped and held for ransom. A wandering party of fishermen, themselves on a quest to free the majority of their willage that had been captured in a slaver’s raid, rescued Bellannah quite by accident in a battle at sea. They returned her to her father and were taken into the employ of Borronad. He has continued to run the Black Hawk Guild and sits on the Council of Muir, the governing body that effectively runs the city.
